Want to play the Warped Tour Kevin Says Stage? The SABIAN Dream Spot competition will once again be joining the Vans Warped Tour in 2008. The second annual promotional contest will give one lucky band the chance to play 10 dates on the 14th annual Road Trip through North America. The winning band will have the opportunity to play the Kia Kevin Says stage - the very stage that was the launching pad for many SABIAN bands including My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold.

October Frequency'z new album, "A Southern Ghost Story"is now on itunes here! Mauled By Lions are working on 4 different albums right now. One will be an ambient, more chill album, this will feature the song Close your Eyes. The Next is the cover EP. So far Ithey've only done 2 songs, the quiet things and fcp, but are planing on doing more covers ncluding Maps by the Yeah yeah yeahs. The 3rd album will be 6 or 7 dance/rave songs. But why did Pete Wentz say Ashlee Simpson wasn't pregnant when she really was? Was he telling the truth, making up a barefaced lie or is he just a bit stupid? Lokal Atlanta musician Sean Costello passed away Tuesday night just one day before his 29th birthday. Costello was an extremely talented and innovative blues artist, who had recently released We Can Get Together to much acclaim on the Delta Groove label in February. In his short career, Costello had the honor of sharing the stage with some of blues legends, including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Elvis Costello to name a few. Delta Groove's President and C.E.O. released the following joint statement about Costello's death: "Sean Costello was a genius. He was destined to go down in music history as a blues legend. His musical legacy will live on through his music forever. We at Delta Groove Music and all his fans everywhere are devastated by the untimely news of his death. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, loved ones and friends and to all of his many fans around the world. He will not be forgotten." Rikki Rockett stems from an incident that occurred on September
23, 2007 at a casino in Mississippi. According to cops Rockett
was staying -- not playing, music that is -- at the Silver Star
Hotel & Casino when he allegedly raped another female guest
in his hotel room. We're told the woman did not report the alleged
assault until several days later, when she came in to the Neshoba
County Sheriffs department and filed a report. After determining
there was probable cause for Rockett, real name Richard Ream,
to be arrested, a warrant was issued. That warrant, we're told,
is still active and he's a wanted man. Police will not give out
any additional details about the alleged sexual assault.

Lowery was with Sevendust when they formed in 1995 and singed to TVT Records in 1997. Lowery was a key member of the Sevendust attack throughout the their TVT years which saw the band release Sevendust (1997) Home (1999), Animosity (2001), Seasons (2003) and Southside Double Wide (2003). After leaving TVT in 2003 the band and Lowery mutually parted ways, with Lowery moving on to join his brother in the band Dark New Day. Sevendust statements on Lowery's return: "This was extremely tough considering Sonny is our brother and has been amazing to work with. He didn't do anything wrong at all, we just owe it to ourselves and all the folks that grew up with us to put our original band back together. Clint has always been our brother and Sonny will always remain our brother as well. Cementing his emo cred...Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz tells MtvU he once was so "completely lost and out of control" he tried to commit suicide. "I got in my car. I remember I was listening to Jeff Buckley doing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" and sat there and took a bunch of [anxiety drug] Ativan in a Best Buy parking lot," the 28-year-old explained. Luchagors are working withe a network of bandz, promoterz, artistz, burlesque aktz and theatrikal talent to get a gig at the Fox Theater: the Fabulous Fox Rock-n-Roll Creature Feature koming the summer of 2008. Once given the final "green-light," it will coincide with one of the film events within the next, yearly Coca- Cola Film series. It will be presented by Port Jolly Roger Enterprises in conjunction with "The Haunted Landmarks of Atlanta," and a number of other grass-roots co-promoter/co-sponsors. It will feature two popular Sci-Fi & Horror films (to be announced), and will also feature pre-show and half-time entertainment from some of the regions most rockin’ indie bands, and burlesque/theatrical talent. Currently on the bill are "the Hot Rods" and "the Lucha Gores" (other acts to be announced). The projected date is sometime in early August of 08 but it is still in development.

from the obvious emotional struggles they both must be facing,

to take a lot of time off work (UNPAID...as he is all out of vacation/sick
days) for her surgeries last year and her most recent surgery
in February of 2008. You can read about the most recent events
